SCHOLARSHIP POLICY

Type: Type A (3 years)

Extra Notes:

1-Registration fee:500 RMB(non-refundable）needs to be paid after passing the Initial Review (Documents Review). 
2-Accommodation with private bathroom and air conditioning: 
Quad Room: 6,000 RMB/year/person 
Double Room: 9,000 RMB/year/person 
Single Room: 12,000 RMB/year/person
   

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

• Age Limit: 18-35

• Academic Requirement: Cumulative GPA must be 3.3 and above out of 4.0. Weighted average score is 83 and above out of 100.

• Specific Requirements: Age (years old): 18 to 35
Whether accept students who have ever been to China: No
Whether minors are accepted: No
Acceptable student's current location: unlimited

• ✔ Academic Transcripts (scanned color copy): Academic transcripts (from the undergraduate program onwards). Copies of academic records from first to last semester during the undergraduate, master (if any), and doctoral programs (if any) shall be provided. These transcripts shall be issued and sealed by the attending university's academic affairs office, graduate school, or student management department.
• ✔ Highest Degree Diploma (scanned color copy): Prospective diploma winners must submit official proof of student status by their current school.If the applicant is about to graduate or has been employed, the pre-graduation certificate issued by the school or the employment certificate issued by the employment unit should be submitted at the same time;
• ✔ Foreigner Physical Examination Form:
• ✔ Non-criminal Record (scanned color copy):
• ✔ Chinese Language Proficiency Certificate: HSK Level 5 180 or above.
• ✔ Application Form:
• ✔ Study Plan: A study plan proposal (focus of material review). A study plan (1000 words or more) in Chinese or English should be submitted. Study plan needs to be signed by the Chinese supervisor.
• ✔ Two Letters of Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation (written only in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors shall be submitted. One of the letters must be from the supervisor at Southwest University.Need to be signed by the referrer and attached to the work unit, contact information and official seal of the unit
• ✔ Residence Permit: Applicants in China need current visa/residence permit page.
• ✔ Study Certificate in China: If you have studied in China need Study Certificate and Transcript.
• ✔ Others: Published academic papers, patents or other research results (if any, please provide)
